BODY WORK MAMA sessions have a maximum of 8 participants working through a series of exercises that are suitable and safe for women during pregnancy and post birth. These are circuit style classes, using all of the Pilates apparatus. BABIES WELCOME!!
We wish to keep you strong and mobile throughout your pregnancy and post birth without causing harm. It is important to listen to your body during and after pregnancy, the road to recovery and becoming strong again after giving birth can be slow, so be patient ladies and we will get you there safely!
While it is safe to practice Pilates during pregnancy, there are several movements that need to be avoided and exercises that should be modified as the body goes through changes.
If these class times don’t suit, pre/postnatal mums are also welcome to join our BODY MAINTENACE sessions at a time and day that suits you. In these classes we will take you through a program specifically designed for your changing body, modifying and advancing it through the weeks when needed. Before joining BODY MAINTENANCE it is necessary to do at least one BODY REPAIR session first so we can understand where you are in your pregnancy/postnatal journey and design a program that is safe.

I attend the pre and post natal classes and have found they have helped me through my pregnancy with stretching my body. Andrea is an excellent teacher and caters to your needs as you progress through your pregnancy. I enjoy attending every Tuesday as I feel energised after each class and always made to feel welcome!
